About the foundation

The Latvian National Opera Foundation brings together individuals and companies who wish to support the artistic growth of the Latvian National Opera and Ballet. Donations help fund new productions, artistic development, educational initiatives, artists’ health and wellbeing, and projects dedicated to preserving the historic Opera House.

The Latvian National Opera and Ballet honours the traditions of classical and romantic opera and ballet while continuously seeking contemporary forms of expression. Its productions are created in collaboration with outstanding Latvian and international soloists, conductors, choreographers, directors, set designers, costume designers, lighting designers and video artists.

As a supporter of the Foundation, you not only contribute to the creation of exceptional artistic experiences, but also receive opportunities to experience opera and ballet more closely — through priority ticket access, special events, meetings with artists and behind-the-scenes experiences.

Supporters buy tickets first

Supporters of the Latvian National Opera Foundation receive priority access to tickets for LNOB performances, concerts and special events before public sales begin. Priority ticket sales begin one day before public sales at 11.00, allowing supporters to choose preferred seats and secure tickets for highly sought-after productions.

Priority ticket access is available to supporters donating from EUR 100 per year. A maximum of 5 tickets may be purchased for each event during priority sales.

How to make a donation

Donations can be made online or by bank transfer to the Latvian National Opera Foundation. If you would like to support a specific project or initiative, please indicate it in the payment details.
